The Sprouts class is for children who are 3 years old at the start of the school year. This class meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-11:30.
In this class children are working on building social skills, building descriptive vocabulary, and are working toward remembering and following basic multi-step directions. Children in this class will make simple craft or art projects each day based either on a letter in the alphabet or the theme for the month. These projects allow students to build fine motor skills that support early writing and more mature and stable grip. Students will develop gross motor skills through nature explorations and playing with various indoor and outdoor toys.
Tuition for this class is $350/month.
The Saplings class is for children who are 4 years old at the start of the school year. This class meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30-12:30.
In this class children are working on building social skills that allow for more independent peer interactions. Children are also working on multi-step craft or art projects that reflect the focus letter for the week, the theme for the month, or a project that communicates observations from a nature walk.
These projects support children in developing a mature, stable grip that allows them to build stamina with writing and drawing. Students will refine their gross motor skills through nature explorations and playing with various indoor and outdoor toys.
Tuition for this class is $600/month.
Students need to have basic independent bathroom skills. We fully recognize accidents happen and are happy to help when they do. However, due to our schedule and design we are not able to change diapers or pull-ups. We can help with zippers, snaps, etc.
Wildflowers summer camp is designed to explore a theme in a week-long format. During camp students will participate in themed activities and crafts and will have time to explore the seasonal changes in nature at Gather and Grow's home property.
