Students need to have basic independent bathroom skills. We fully recognize accidents happen and are happy to help when they do. However, due to our schedule and design we are not able to change diapers or pull-ups. We can help with zippers, snaps, buttons, etc.
Wildflowers Class
Wildflowers Class
Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00am- 1:00pm
The Wildflowers class supports children in building social skills that allow stable friendships to blossom. This class also supports children in building thinking skills, descriptive vocabulary, and thinking in multiple steps.
Wildflower students will also work on craft or art projects each day that reflect the focus letter for the week, the theme for the month, or a project that communicates observations from a nature walk. Students will also practice skills like sorting, counting, comparing, etc.
Our projects are designed to support children in developing fine motor skills that will eventually lead to a mature, stable pencil grip which will allow for easier writing and drawing over time. Students will refine their gross motor skills and bodily awareness through nature explorations and playing and building with various indoor and outdoor toys.
Students will need to bring a snack and a full lunch with them each day. We will eat together as a class and practice social eating habits and conversation skills while slowing down to connect.
Tuition for this class is $650/month.
Seedlings class
Meets Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00-11:30.
This class is designed to give students a slower introduction to a school-like schedule while still allowing ample time to build skills, enjoy time having outdoor explorations, and practice social skills. This class will engage with weekly letter recognition practice and letter-based craft as well as with the monthly thematic unit. Students will practice skills like sorting, counting, comparing, etc.
Students will practice fine motor skills through crafts and play, through activities designed to help build a strong tri-pod grip. Through outdoor play and explorations students will build continued bodily-awareness and strength.
Students will have a snack as a class to begin practicing social eating habits and independence in routines.
Tuition for this class is: $275/month
If five day week care is needed, a student can be enrolled in both classes for $900/month.
