Gather & Grow Preschool is located on 8 acres in the rural area of Scholls. This rural setting allows students to spend lots of time outdoors exploring, cultivating curiosity, and gathering experiences to share about.
The acreage that Gather & Grow calls home is a former hay field that is re-emerging as a farm and native plant nursery as we continue to build more bio-dversity. The farm/garden is tended by a dedicated farmer, and we are the happy explorers seeing what the garden is growing.
Bald Eagles, Hawks, Barn Swallows, Yellow Finches, Scrub Jays, Stellar jays, Oregon Juncos, Sparrows, Robins, Towhees, and Hummingbirds are spotted daily and will become part of the family of birds familiar to Gather & Grow students.
Gather & Grow is becoming a community hub for people, for plants, and for wildlife.
Gather & Grow Preschool has its own dedicated space within the homestead house, with its own bathroom, kitchenette, and yard that are for the the exclusive use of the preschool and is separate from the main living space and other community spaces.
